Jordan Izzett founded BAD Run Club with a singular focus: to make fitness, friendship, and community more accessible for everyone in Barking and Dagenham.
The mission goes beyond running; it's about creating an inclusive environment that brings people from all backgrounds together. Jordan is dedicated to improving local wellbeing, building meaningful relationships, and inspiring positive change across our borough through the shared power of movement.
OUR MISSION
We believe everyone deserves to experience the power of running, the strength of community and the feeling of belonging.
BAD Run Club was created to bring that experience to Barking and Dagenham. After discovering how running can transform your confidence, wellbeing and relationships, we wanted to create a local community where others could experience the same.
Too often, people feel they need to travel into central London or elsewhere to find a welcoming running community. We want to change that by building something right here in our borough.
Our mission is to make running accessible, bring people together, improve physical and mental wellbeing, and create meaningful connections through movement.
We are more than a running club. We are a community built on inclusion, encouragement and the belief that everyone belongs, whatever their pace, background or experience.

Making running accessible to everyone, regardless of experience, pace or background. We offer beginner-friendly runs, supportive pacers and opportunities for everyone to get moving without pressure.
